Annual Insurance Enrollment Closed

The deadline to enroll was Wednesday, June 4. Changes made during annual enrollment will be effective Oct. 1 (Flexible Spending Accounts will be effective Sept. 1).

Please note that enrollment did NOT occur for dental plans. A separate enrollment for dental will take place once negotiations are complete.

    Dental Enrollment Delayed

    • OCPS issued a Request for Proposal this spring for dental services. The selection committee, comprised of members from CTA, OESPA and the district, worked diligently to evaluate the proposals. At this time negotiations continue and the dental provider and options for this year’s annual enrollment are not available. Once negotiations are complete, you will have an opportunity to add or drop dental coverage for yourself and eligible dependents in a dental-only enrollment.

    Flexible Spending Accounts
    FSAs can provide significant savings to you.  You set aside funds on a pretax basis to spend on qualifying healthcare expenses (General Purpose FSA or Limited Purpose FSA) for you and your eligible family members or qualifying dependent care expenses, like daycare, (Dependent Care FSA) throughout the plan year.
